Local 1445 members, and their family members, may be eligible for a variety
of scholarships, based upon various criteria. The scholarships available to Local 1445 members are:
- The UFCW Local 1445 lottery scholarship - one award of $1,000;
Trade/vocational school-bound high school seniors, or MEMBERS planning to resume their college education. (If you are currently a college-bound high school senior or an undergraduate student, you would not be eligible
for this award.)
- The UFCW Local 1445 Nicole Berman
memorial scholarship - undergraduate students.
- The UFCW Local 1445 Women's Network Beppie McNally memorial scholarship -
undergraduate students.
- The John G. Silva scholarship - two awards of $1,000; Gloucester High School seniors only.
High school seniors and undergraduate students who are members, or the children or spouses of members, of Local 1445 may also be eligible for additional scholarships. For more information visit these webpages:
