The Local 1445 annual fundraiser is coming up quickly.
This year´s Walk is scheduled for Sunday, September 26, 2010 at the UMass Memorial
Hospital, Plantation St, Worcester, MA campus. Registration is at 10 AM; the Walk starts at noon.
Each year Local 1445 surpasses all previous years in donations raised because of the hard work of our
valued stewards and members, along with the generosity of their families, friends, and neighbors. Local 1445 remains one of the flagship organizations among the
many labor unions, business groups, and private citizens that participate each year. Every dollar we raise - 100% - goes directly to research to find a cure for this
dreaded disease that touches all of us at some time in our lives.

As in past years, all our participants - members, families, and friends - are invited to join us for some fun, relaxation, and great food at our post-Walk cookout.
